Champaign, OH:  Rainy Days and Mondays

What I feel has come and gone before…
No need to talk it out…
We know what it’s all about…
Hangin’ around…
Nothin’ to do but frown…
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down
(Rainy Days and Mondays-The Carpenters)

Well, today certainly does fit the song title and lyric of this Weblog! It’s been a non-stop, cold, dreary, drizzling kind of day. The kind of day that just continued to be more gray, more cold, and more like moving into early winter instead of late spring!

But, the good news for days like, today, is that the sun will always shine, it has to get warmer, and you always have bright and shiny things, like this little local market of love, to see you through!

Who cares what the weather is doing if you don’t have to be out in it to shop! Who cares if it’s dreary, when we have so many products that scream spring, sunshine, and nice days ahead!

At this market, we ONLY know goodness, and smiles, and happiness, and lovely products. So, curl up, get cozy, and start your orders! You will be so happy when Thursday rolls around, and all you have to do is stop at the YMCA to grab your pocket full of sunshine with spring produce, live plants and herbs, spring garlic, and all of the rest of the products!

Rainy days and Mondays may always get you down, but now you can turn them into the happiest days with placing your market orders!

Peace, Love, and Grooviness…

Cook Farm:  Cook Farm

Hi from the farm,

Sorry for the 1-day late availability list-Sunday evening email just slipped my mind. I am extending the order deadline-just this one time-to Wednesday 8 a.m..
The lettuce heads have increased to a nice size-beautiful :)
Thanks again for your support of locally grown food,

Susan Cook

Conway Regional Farmers Market:  Welcome to the Conway Regional Farmers Market!

As part of Conway Regional’s efforts to become a healthier community and encourage healthy eating habits to our employees and their families, we are once again hosting our very own Conway Regional Farmers Market! The market supports small, family-owned farms, while providing easy access to fresh, locally grown foods.

Each week between noon on Sunday through 9am on Wednesday, employees and community members may order their choice of available fresh vegetables, fruits, meats and many other specialty items based on season. Once the produce has been ordered, employees are responsible for pick up. These items may be picked up every Friday from 3:30-5:30pm in the breezeway area between the Conway Regional Women’s Center and Surgery Center. Produce that is not picked up will be donated or recycled.

To reduce our environmental footprint, employees are encouraged to bring a reusable shopping bag to pick up their produce.

Also, please keep in mind that fresh produce cannot be stored in patient care areas. These items need to be safely stored in an office or locker away from patients and visitors.

Questions or concerns? Please call the Conway Regional Marketing & Foundation office at 501.513.5771.
