It’s warm enough to enjoy outdoor activities like cookouts, camping and picnics while cool enough to inspire cozy meals, campfires, and the bounty of harvest time! Shop for premium cuts of meat for delicious cookouts, stock your freezer for the next few months or just get ready for soup and stew weather! Look for Drewry apples on the extras table this week and hold on to the taste of summer with a sweet watermelon from Justin’s Produce! The peppers are loving this weather and our vendors have both sweet and spicy varieties. Enjoy the amazing flavor of cooking with fresh herbs or get a couple of live plants to supply your kitchen for months to come! Avoid processed sugar with honey from Rural Route or try some of our vendors’ tasty jam or jelly made from your favorite fruits! Meadowlark’s ice cream will hit the spot on those warm afternoons and their cheese will help you create some tasty meals. With fresh breads, delicious sweets and great desserts, our bakers have it covered! Find something unique, try a new flavor or savor your favorites with great local foods and products!

I hope that September is off to a good start for you. Here at the farm we are getting ready with our fall crops and preparing for winter as well.

We’ve completed 11 +1 added week of Summer veggie CSA Season, and we’re now entering 11 weeks of Fall CSA.

Now’s your chance to sign up for the full Fall season and save $15 off the season.

Right now you can get the best of both worlds at RCM! Enjoy summer favorites like watermelon, tomatoes, squash and cucumbers from Justin’s Produce while fall flavors are starting to make an appearance as well! It’s never too early for some pumpkin bread or a pumpkin donut from Weatherford! Warm your tastebuds with a chilli skillet brownie from Lucky Star or savor a warm garlic cheddar biscuit from Meadowlark. Hoof Hollow Hobbies has some early turnip greens and some lovely fresh basil leaves and Mary-Ann King has plenty of her shishito peppers and some other varieties. Try some candied fruit from Sweetbirds Candy Kitchen, some muscadine BBQ sauce from Meadowlark or breakfast on some bagels from Maple Brook!
