Serves: 30

Ingredients
12 ounces Beef roast (cooked)
1 cup Spinach (chopped)
OR green onions
OR chard
1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
3 10 biscuit cans Refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Shred the beef roast, then microwave to heat through. Stir in your vegetable of choice and the hoisin sauce. Microwave to thicken the sauce, then set aside.
  2. Line a stove-top steamer with parchment paper and cut a hole in the center. (If you do not have a stovetop steamer, use a steamer basket in a large saucepan). Add water until the level is just below the basket. Bring the water to a boil.
  3. Put the biscuit dough onto a cutting board and flatten them into squares and press down the corners. Place 1 tablespoon of beef mixture into the center of the square. Fold two opposite corners together over the mixture, then the other two. Pinch the corners all together to make a square bun, then turn the bun over. Repeat.
  4. Working in batches, put the buns into the steamer (keep them 2 inches apart), cover, and steam for 7 minutes. Gently remove the buns with tongs and set them aside to cool. Repeat.
